Norfolk, Virginia, USA | September 9, 2008 -- Landmark Communications announced today that it has sold Q Interactive, a leading digital marketing provider, to Intrepid Investments, a merchant bank focused on investing in technology companies.

Based in Chicago, Q Interactive operates the Internet's largest post registration-based lead generation network. The company provides targeted lead generation, email and display solutions to help more than 1,000 leading brand advertisers reach their target consumers and publishers better monetize their online audience.

The sale is part of a process that Landmark announced in January to explore strategic alternatives, including the sale of Landmark's businesses. Lehman Brothers advised Landmark on the sale.
